A bilingual brand site and online store for BOXXCASE, a Jakarta maker of flightcases, briefcases, and pedalboards. It brings four sub-brands, ready-stock products, and custom orders together in one place.
Context
BOXXCASE states that it has made hardcases and pedalboards by hand in Jakarta since 2008. Its cases protect instruments and audio gear for Indonesian musicians, and also equipment for military, medical, broadcast, and telecommunication clients. The company runs four brands from one workshop: BOXXCASE for cases and pedalboards, BXJR for cables and power supplies, HAKO for controller accessories, and BOXXCARTEL as a marketplace for new and used guitar effects.
The challenge
The business sells two very different things: ready-made products that can be bought today, and custom cases that need a conversation about dimensions and materials. On top of that, four brands share one audience of gear owners, but each has its own range. The site had to keep the brands distinct, let people buy stock items directly, and send custom work to a consultation without mixing the two.
- Shop now or build custom
- Four brands under one navigation
- Artist endorsements as proof
- Non-music industries as a second market

Approach
How it came together.
- 01
Put both buying paths in the hero
The hero pairs Belanja Sekarang with Buat Case Custom, and the same pair returns at the end of the page. A visitor who knows what they want and one who needs a made-to-measure case each see their path immediately.
- 02
Gave each sub-brand its own card and entry point
The Empat brand, satu workshop section lists BOXXCASE, BXJR, HAKO, and BOXXCARTEL as color-coded cards, each linking into its own range. The top navigation repeats the brands so they read as one family rather than separate shops.
- 03
Explained the three series before the product lines
Standard, Deluxe, and Blackchrome are introduced as levels of protection and finish. Buyers can place themselves on that scale before looking at specific flightcases, briefcases, or pedalboards.
- 04
Connected the catalog to a working store
A ready-stock section shows Microboxx pedalboards with prices, and the header includes account and cart icons. The footer lists payment options through Midtrans and the couriers used, which answers checkout questions before they come up.
- 05
Gave custom orders a separate Custom Shop block
A dedicated section explains that the Jakarta team consults on materials and foam interiors, with a single Mulai Konsultasi action. Custom work stays out of the cart because it needs a conversation first.
- 06
Built proof from artists and industries
Named artists and a cross-industry list (music, military, photography, medical, telecom, portable servers) show who already uses the cases. The dark palette, amber accents, and heavy uppercase type suit a touring-gear audience, and the ID/EN switch opens the store to English-speaking buyers.
