A one-page company website for Pusat Perdagangan Batam, a general trading company in Batam that also offers business consulting and brokerage. It presents the firm's services in Indonesian and English and routes every visitor toward a phone call or a contact form.
Context
Pusat Perdagangan Batam (PPB) describes itself as a general trading company offering wholesale trade and professional business consulting from an office in Bengkong, Batam. Its services cover fee or contract based wholesale trade, business consulting and brokerage, and wholesale of a wide range of goods from consumer products to industrial raw materials. The firm positions itself as a strategic partner with a partner network inside and outside Indonesia. It needed a single place where prospective partners could understand that mix of services quickly.
The challenge
Trading and consulting are two different offers, and a visitor arriving cold could easily read PPB as only one of them. The audience includes both local businesses and partners abroad, so the site had to work in Indonesian and English. The services themselves carry formal, licence-style names that are hard to scan. The page had to explain each one in plain terms and make it obvious how to start a conversation.
- Show both service lines in the hero
- Plain explanations of formal service names
- Indonesian and English for foreign partners
- Contact options visible from every section

Approach
How it came together.
- 01
Led the hero with both service lines
The hero sits over a container port photograph and rotates its headline between wholesale trade and business consulting, so neither offer is hidden below the fold. A single LIHAT DETAIL button moves visitors into the explanation.
- 02
Turned trust claims into four scannable cards
The Mengapa Memilih Kami section breaks the firm's pitch into four icon cards: experience, network, integrated service and commitment to quality. On mobile they stack as separate cards so each point reads on its own.
- 03
Rewrote each service as a plain-language offer
The three services keep their formal names as headings, but each gets a short paragraph explaining what the client actually receives, such as fee or contract based trading or matching with business opportunities. This keeps the official wording while making it readable.
- 04
Added a language switch to the main menu
A Bahasa dropdown in the navigation offers English and Indonesian versions of the page. It sits next to the section links so a foreign visitor finds it without searching.
- 05
Kept contact one step away throughout
A yellow Hubungi Kami button stays in the header, a contact band repeats the phone number, and a short form asks only for name, email and message. The footer closes with the office address and email.

When a company sells two different things, the hero has to name both before anything else.
